Exciting plans are afoot to redevelop the Melksham skate park in King George V Playing Fields. The current skate park is nearing the end of its lifespan and a group of skaters have come together to ensure the future of the facility.
The group's aim is to raise up to £200,000 for the new facility which will be built by Maverick Industries, a leading skate park provider. The concrete park will occupy the same site as the existing facility and will have a lifespan of around 40 years.
